Schedule Details/Additional Information:
Clinic hours of operation Monday – Friday 7:45am – 8:00pm, Saturday/Sunday 7:45am – 4:00pm.Holiday Rotation required – 2 holidays per year.One weekend requirement per month.Possible floating to other Urgent Care sites of New Berlin, Brookfield, Franklin, and Edgerton.
Job Description Summary:
The Ambulatory and Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN), a member of Advocate Health Nursing Professional Governance community, provides high- quality, patient-centered care through evidence-based practice, clinical expertise, and compassionate care delivery in an ambulatory care setting. The RN collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, advocates for patient needs, and upholds professional practice standards to promote optimal health outcomes.

We’re Looking For:
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:
-
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA), and
-
Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (ACLS) issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) needs to be obtained within 6 months, and
-
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the team member practices.
Education Required:

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
Experience Required:

Typically requires 5 years of experience in acute care nursing that includes experiences in urgent care, inpatient, ambulatory or ED .
What You’ll Do:
As a skilled and compassionate RN Lead, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. In addition to providing direct patient care, provides professional and organizational leadership to effectively guide the quality of patient care.
