As a Behavioral Health team member at Advocate Health Care or Aurora Health Care, you’ll coach and mentor patients toward physical, emotional, mental, and behavioral health. With empathy, high emotional intelligence, and a non-judgmental disposition, you’ll provide exceptional care at every level, whether inpatient, outpatient or through our Partial Hospital Program. As a not-for-profit organization, we serve a patient population that is as diverse as our team, so you’ll have the potential to treat children, adolescents or adults struggling with eating disorders, substance abuse, depression, anxiety, ADHD and more, at any of our 15 locations throughout Illinois and Wisconsin.
Integrated approach
Work with physicians and other team members we fully integrated hospital system to treat the whole patient and their family. We offer team members the opportunity to contribute in a collaborative environment that offers behavioral health support at every emergency department and via telehealth. We know that emotional, mental and spiritual health is as vital for our patients as their physical health.
Our team members are a group of strong, independent professionals who work as a collaborative, multidisciplinary team – throughout our hospitals, clinics and behavioral health locations. As a member of the team, you’ll provide your expertise, while gaining experience and knowledge from your co-workers, helping you grow professionally and our patients to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Philosophy of care
We believe in a holistic approach to healing from mental health and substance abuse problems. We think hope, healing, empowerment and connection make it possible to recover from severe depression, bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders, substance abuse and self-destructive behaviors. Treatment plans are personalized for each patient, whether 5 or 65 years old, and are made with an interprofessional team approach with an emphasis on understanding and making healthy changes. You will see your efforts realized, not only in the outcomes of your patients, but also as part of a large health care system and in the individual communities we serve.
Our focus on integrated health is exemplified at our Kradwell School in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, giving students who struggle in a traditional educational environment the opportunity to excel through close relationships with hospital staff and their own personalized learning plan.
Community involvement
We don’t always stay within our own four walls. Our team members support the community in a variety of ways, from volunteering and partnering with local nonprofits to providing educational programs at schools and universities. We help in any way we can to tackle important issues like opioid abuse, bullying and depression because we want to make our communities stronger.
Pharmacy Technician
As a key part of the pharmacy team, pharmacy technicians at Advocate Health Care and Aurora Health Care help to provide efficient, quality and safe patient care. Pharmacy Leadership

Pharmacist
We give you the ability to advance as a clinical or staff pharmacist through eight unique post-graduate training programs, and several areas of specialty, including oncology, critical care, cardiology, and more.
Physical and Occupational Therapy
Help patients with mobility and every day movements to maintain their quality of life. As a physical or occupational therapist, you’ll work within in-patient, outpatient or home settings, guiding patients toward recovery. From therapy aides to leadership, Advocate Health Care and Aurora Health Care allow you to operate at the top of your license, while helping you grow and evolve your career.
Speech Therapy
Evaluate and execute the appropriate treatment for patients, while emphasizing quality of care, continuity of service, and cost effectiveness. Your skills and experience will be put to work with medically prescribed speech and language therapy. You’ll establish care plans that help patients gain the confidence they need to achieve results through in-home and community programs, family teaching, equipment, and more.
Athletic Trainer
You’ll work with athletes and fitness enthusiasts to keep them performing at the top of their game. Through medically prescribed training, injury assessments, plans for care, and referrals for additional tests or services as needed, your expertise will ensure their physical and psychological comfort, both immediately and long term.
Clerical and Support
As a member of our clinical staff, you’ll provide a wide range of support to keep the rehabilitation department functioning smoothly. Whether you’re scheduling appointments, handling paperwork, or setting up equipment, your role is key to the therapists’ and patients’ success.
ACL Laboratories is a community based testing lab with a team who follows best-in-class protocols to provide the best, most convenient and accurate service for patients. ACL Labs is able to draw on the resources of one of the 12 largest not-for-profit health care systems, Advocate Aurora Health, which uniquely positions us to provide superior service on a wide range of clinical, anatomic pathology, and analytical testing, including molecular diagnostics and more.
