Schedule Details/Additional Information:
Full remote. Monday through Friday, standard business hours.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Creates reports, dashboards, and other self-service solutions that clearly present data to stakeholders; maintains developed solutions 
  • Develops datasets and datamarts for analyses and interactive solutions; implements documentation, design, and development best practices and methodologies in partnership with senior teammates and leaders 
  • Analyzes datasets to identify trends and outcomes of healthcare programs and interventions; works with senior teammates and leaders to communicate findings and methodologies to stakeholders
  • Actively contributes to multiple projects while balancing competing priorities 
  • Demonstrates deep understanding of data stewardship guidelines, regulations, and department standards for reporting and handling sensitive data 

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:

  • ​​Epic Cogito Fundamentals accreditation or certification, obtained within 180 days 
  • Epic Caboodle Data Model accreditation or certification, obtained within 180 days 
  • Epic Clarity Data Model accreditation or certification, obtained within 180 days 

Education Required:

  • ​​Bachelor’s degree in economics, statistics, data science, finance, business analytics, health informatics, or related field. Master’s degree preferred 

Experience Required:

  • Typically requires 2 to 4 years of experience in business analytics, healthcare informatics, or related field. 
     

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

  • ​​ Ability to work independently or as part of a group and balance multiple priorities while consistently completing complex tasks in a goal-oriented manner 
  • Strong communication skills; demonstrated ability to actively listen and ask clarifying questions 
  • Team player with positive attitude, strong commitment to customer service, and a desire to master healthcare-related systems and business processes 
  • Demonstrates critical thinking, ability to problem solve, and is results-oriented 
  • Experience in programming tools and languages used for data extraction and automation, data management, modeling, and analysis 
  • Experience working with large-scale data; strong working knowledge of business intelligence concepts and designs
