Where You Will Work:
Aurora Sinai Medical Center’s Emergency Department is in the heart of downtown Milwaukee that serves approximately 60,000 patients each year. Our newly renovated department has a 42-bed capacity and features rooms specially designed for fast track, general medical and critical care patients. Our team is prepared at any time to treat patients presenting for a variety of complaints with a wide range of acuity levels.
Sinai’s Emergency Department is certified as a level IV trauma care facility by the state of Wisconsin. We have also been recognized by the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association with the Get With The Guidelines-Stroke GOLD PLUS achievement award and are accredited by the American College of Emergency Physicians as a Geriatric Emergency Department. The Emergency Department staff at Aurora Sinai Medical Center is dedicated to the community and the patients we serve.
We’re Looking For:
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Strong interest and passion for cardiac care
- A commitment to teamwork, communication, and continual professional growth
- 1+ yr acute care experience in acute care – would consider newly licensed RN with EMT, paramedic, ED clinical preceptorship or ED clinical rotation
What You’ll Do:
- As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
