Schedule Details/Additional Information:
Monday through Friday
with rotating start times between 0600 and 0830
plus one closing week every six weeks.
Hours for the closing shift vary based on the surgical schedule

Patient Population: outpatient procedures prep and recovery of outpatient ortho, GYN, general bariatric, robotic, urology, plastics, dental and ECT patient and IV therapy, Pre-admission testing

We’re Looking For:
-
Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
-
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
-
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
-
Having 1-2 years of inpatient nursing med/surg ,ICU or ED. or periop experience
What You’ll Do:

Deliver individualized care using the nursing process—assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans tailored to each patient’s needs.

Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, mobilizing resources and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes.

Promote patient safety by implementing risk-reduction strategies and reporting safety events promptly.

Educate patients and families, adapting teaching methods to meet unique learning needs and supporting readiness for discharge.
-
Coordinate care and discharge planning through an interdisciplinary approach, ensuring continuity across the healthcare continuum.

Lead and delegate effectively, fostering teamwork and supporting unlicensed personnel.

Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient experience and unit performance.

Maintain professional growth through ongoing education, competency completion, and participation in shared governance activities.
