Schedule Details/Additional Information:
This is a full-time on-site clinic position supporting the Electrophysiology Providers. The nurse will assist with phone triage, in-basket coverage for messages, test results, refills, respond to medical emergencies, prep clinic office patient visits.Schedule will be Monday through Friday with hours 8:00AM-4:30 PM, 8-hour shifts only. No weekends or holidays.Main location is the St. Luke's medical office building however travel is required for Sinai Arrhythmia clinic as well. Experienced candidates preferred.

Where You Will Work:

St. Luke’s Medical Offices- 2801 W Kinnickinnic River Parkway, Milwaukee, WI.  The main location is St. Luke’s with travel required to the Sinai Arrhythmia clinic as well. 

 

The Cardiology clinic within the St. Luke’s medical offices are part of the premier, nationally recognized centers for heart rhythm disorders.  These clinics specialize in diagnosing and treating all types of heart and vascular conditions and are staffed by board-certified cardiac electrophysiologists and the facility is home to groundbreaking diagnostic and treatment techniques, including innovative hybrid ablation procedures and 4-D ultrasound imaging.

 

We’re Looking For:

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing

Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices

Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

Minimum of 1 year of RN experience is preferred.

 

What You’ll Do:

Schedule: Schedule will be Monday through Friday with hours 8:00AM-4:30 PM, 8-hour shifts only. No weekends or holidays.

Main location is the St Luke's medical office building. Travel is required for Sinai Arrhythmia clinic as well.

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Must be able to successfully complete clinic-based training for all associates. Ability to work with all levels of personnel. Ability to work under stressful situations. Frequent periods of extended standing and sitting. Possible lifting and assisting of patients,
If position has direct patient care or direct patient contact the following lifting requirement supersedes any previous lifting requirement effective 06/01/2015. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance. For patient lifts of over 35 pounds, or when patient is unable to assist with the lift, patient handling equipment is expected to be used, with at least one other associate, when available. Unique patient lifting/movement situations will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
