Responsible for the planning, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Advocate Health’s quality management system (QMS). The QMS Program Manager ensure process align with organizational priorities as well as supporting with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Will collaborate across departments to ensure the quality of our processes, focusing on continual improvement.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Lead and consult to performance improvement initiatives, including but not limited to regional and enterprise initiatives.
  • Collaboratively develop, implement, and maintain enterprise performance improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with CMS COPs and other relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Establish, update, and maintain documentation supporting quality functions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, supply chain, etc.) to improve quality, resolve issues, and optimize processes.
  • Coordinates and leads the implementation of quality training programs.
  • Creates presentations, compiles and analyzes data.
  • Key liaison with software vendors and IT for software supporting Quality processes.

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or comparable certification preferred

Education Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or related field
  • Advanced degree preferred

Experience Required:

  • Typically requires 7 years of experience in healthcare including software management and regulatory experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

  • Competent in performance improvement and change management methodologies
  • Demonstrated project management skills with little or no supervision.
  • Proven critical thinking skills to solve problems independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with key leaders and stakeholders, including vendors.
  • Ability to educate, influence, lead and facilitate diverse group of leaders and stakeholders.
  • Ability to handle sensitive political situations.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • This position requires some travel so there will be exposure to weather and road conditions.
  • Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
  • Exposed to a normal office environment.
