Schedule Details/Additional Information:
Variable hours 7 days a week. Monday-Friday 6:30am-4:00pm. Saturday and Sunday 6:30am -12pm. On call rotation a week at a time from 3pm -11pm.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Gathers comprehensive health data through client interview and situation evaluation. Analyzes assessment data, incorporating it into client problem/diagnosis identification.
  • Identifies expected outcomes derived from the assessment data and diagnosis and individualizes expected outcomes with the client and members of the health care team.
  • Works with client to develop a plan of care that includes interventions and treatments designed to enhance client outcome.
  • Prescribes nursing orders or implements interventions or treatments for the plan of care.
  • Employs interventions, and teaching to promote, restore, maintain and improve health and prevent illness and injury.
  • Identifies the need for additional care and make referrals as needed.
  • Implements Care Management initiatives as appropriate.
  • Continuously evaluates own nursing practice in relation to professional practice standards and relevant statues and regulations, and are accountable to the public and the profession for providing competent clinical care.
  • Acquires and maintains current knowledge and skills in the area of Women’s Health.
  • Creates interdisciplinary relationships that are collaborative, proactive & client-focused, which facilitate and maximize client outcomes.

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:

  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the team member practices.

Education Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent knowledge) in Nursing.

Experience Required:

  • Typically requires 5 years of experience in women’s health.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

  • Basic computer skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, and reach above shoulders and twist frequently during work shift.
  • Must be able to life up to 20 lbs. and use repetitive activities of the fingers, hands, and wrists.
  • Exposed to chemical and radiation hazards as well as blood and body fluids. As a result, protective clothing must be worn as necessary.
  • Must have functional speech, vision, hearing, and touch with ability to use fine hand manipulation skills for IV insertion and other procedures/functions.
  • Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
