Monday-Friday 1:30pm-10pm. Rotating Weekends

Major Responsibilities:

  • Distribution of Supplies
    •     5)Delivers equipment to Clinical Engineering according to established procedures.
    •     6)Obtains signatures for all deliveries.
    •     7)Physically replenishes items in the storeroom that are delivered on a daily basis from contracted vendor/distributor.
    •     8)Maintains customer service focus and serves as a role model to the team for meeting or exceeding the needs of internal departments to ensure excellence in customer satisfaction.
    •     4)Performs safe transportation of all supplies and patient care equipment.
    •     1)Picks items needed to satisfy all par levels, department requisition, or STAT orders.
    •     2)Sends proper supplies and quantity when requested to ordering department.
    •     3)Performs equipment rounds to ensure all Nursing units and departments are properly stocked and equipment is kept cleaned and maintained.
  • Receiving
    •     1)Receives product from carrier, ensures that the manifest matches the number of pieces delivered and the product(s) are not damaged.
    •     2)Compares packing list to individual products received for correct catalog number, quantity, and expiration date.
    •     3)Communicates shortages / over shipments, damages, or errors to the appropriate Supply Chain representative.
    •     4)Stages product for departmental delivery and/or par replenishment as necessary.
    •     5)Prepares any outgoing shipments according to the carriers procedure and contacts the carrier when necessary.
    •     6)Follows established policy and procedure for returned goods.
  • Warehousing of all storeroom supplies and patient care equipment.
    •     1)Puts away storeroom stock received.
    •     2)Assures all stock is rotated on a regular basis in storeroom and par replenished areas.
    •     3)Maintains proper levels for all patient care equipment.
    •     4)Cleans patient care equipment returned from clinical departments.
    •     5)Communicates excessive product usage by patient or unit, product shortages to the appropriate supply chain representative.
    •     6)Maintains inventory locations, par items, and labels.
    •     7)Documents all product issued to departments by recording item number and department cost center.
    •     8)Maintains a secure storeroom with limited access.
  • Inventory Control
    •     1)Participates in annual physical inventories.
    •     2)Leads the team in cycle counting and performs all discrepancy adjustments according to supply chain protocol.
    •     3)Performs scheduled stock and non-stock par replenishment inventories, picks and deliveries.
    •     4)Notifies supply chain supervisor regarding any product shortages, stock-outs, variances in perpetual versus physical counts.
  • Other Duties
    •     1)Responds to Code Triage and/or HICS, transports carts to designated areas per policy.
    •     2)Performs all other duties as required.
  • Documentation and Computer Entry
    •     1)Performs computer entry of all product received and issued from the storeroom.
    •     2)Performs patient care equipment cleaning, processing and tracking.
    •     3)Creates documentation for all computer entries.
    •     4)Files paperwork daily.
  • Department Cleanliness
    •     1)Maintains a clean, organized and safe environment in the department.
    •     2)Disposes of all boxes, sweeps warehouse floor, and maintains a clean work space.
    •     3)Keeps aisles clear of boxes, places all stock in proper location on shelf.
    •     4)Consolidates all open supplies to ensure clean uncluttered placement of supplies.
    •     5)Ensures that all supplies are kept in storage compliance with fire codes.
