Full-time, second shift with rotating weekends, holidays and call.
$10,000 sign-on bonus!
Major Responsibilities:
- Customer Satisfaction
- 1)Serves as a patient advocate to ensure that patients and customers needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
- 2)Ensures timely scheduling of both inpatients and out patients
- 3)Provides education to all patients before, during and after exams.
- 4)Maintains a positive relationship with all customers i.e., patients, other departments, physicians and fellow associates.
- 5)Reviews patient satisfaction data and participates in improving areas of concern
- 6)Utilizes appropriate resources to resolve patient irritants
- 7)Addresses and resolves customer complaints.
- 8)Ensures on-time completion of own performance pathway • Submits self-evaluation to leader two weeks before review
- 9)Participates quarterly in the associate satisfaction survey
- 10)Submits ideas on improving customer satisfaction on a continual basis
- Quality
- 1)Accountable for the production of quality CT scans.
- 2)Demonstrates the appropriate operation of all CT equipment
- 3)Demonstrates safety in all areas, electrical, environmental, radiation etc.
- 4)Ensures all appropriate information is present before CT exams are performed
- 5) Completes all data entries in the HIS and RIS .
- 6)Participates in efforts to monitor and improve departmental CQI indicators
- 7)Submits ideas for improving quality in the department.
- Assesses own learning needs, seeks appropriate training and development
- 1)Sets own learning goals.
- 2)Maintains a program to complete required training hours per quarter.

Education/Experience Required:
- ARRT eligible. Some scanning experience
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
- Able to complete most CT procedures.
- ARRT Registered
Physicial Requirements and Working Conditions:
- May be exposed to life threatening diseases. Ability to adjust hours with minimal notice as required Ability to stand for long periods of time. Ability to view small CRT screens. Ability to work odd hours. Ability to respond to emergency call. Ability to lift and/or move patients. Ability to work under stressful conditions Ability to work rotating shifts any day of the week. Ability to stand, bend and/or stoop for extended periods of time.
- If position has direct patient care or direct patient contact the following lifting requirement supersedes any previous lifting requirement effective 06/01/2015. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance. For patient lifts of over 35 pounds, or when patient is unable to assist with the lift, patient handling equipment is expected to be used, with at least one other associate, when available. Unique patient lifting/movement situations will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
