Schedule Details/Additional Information:
This is a Monday – Friday with shifts scheduled between 7:30am – 4:00pm, occasional evenings and weekends.
Actual compensation offered in the Pay Range of $22.50 – $33.75 for an MA or $23.65 – $35.50 for an LPN and will be based on factors such as qualifications, skills, relevant experience and/or training.
Major Responsibilities:
- Assist their Employee Health peers with important clinical duties including but not limited to Fit testing, vaccine clinic support and minor first aid. They may also assist with central team functions as needed.
- Provides instruction on PAPR use when necessary
- Provides on-site fit testing.
- Reports out at the site safety huddle providing pertinent employee health injury updates and other necessary situational awareness.
- Works closely with the PSA RN to assist all team members within their assigned site.
- Assists PSA RN with implementation of injury actions plans
- Prepare and administer vaccines/medications as needed
- Document patient information into the electronic health record
Licensure or Certifications
LPN: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license issued by the state in which the team member practices, and
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) needs to be obtained within 6 months unless department leader has determined it is not required.
MA: Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) needs to be obtained within 6 months unless department leader has determined it is not required.
Certification Required:
Medical Assistant (CMA) certification issued by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), or
Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) certification issued by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA), or
Medical Assistant (RMA) certification issued by the American Medical Technologists (AMT), or
Medical Assistant (NCMA) certification issued by the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
Degrees
LPN: Advanced training beyond High School that includes the completion of an accredited or approved program in Practical Nursing
MA: Completion of an accredited or approved program in Medical Assistant
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
- Good communications skills. Experience using a keyboard and computers.
- Familiarity with equipment used in ambulatory care.
- Current AHA CPR certification.
- Ability to travel locally to multiple sites as needed.
- Ability to work in stressful conditions and difficult situations.
- Resilient and flexible in a changing environment.
- Ability to cooperate and work with others.
- Ability to make sound and timely decisions and ability to work rotating shifts any day of the week.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Must sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, crawl, kneel, climb, and reach above shoulders throughout the workday.

Ability to lift 35 pounds without assistance. For patient lifts over 35 pounds, or when patient is unable to assist with lift, patient handling equipment is expected to be used, with at least one other team member, when available.

Unique patient lifting/movement situations will be assessed on a case- by- case basis.
