Schedule Details/Additional Information:
Medical Director Population Health, Pediatric

Major Responsibilities:
Collaborate with PHO Director, Field Advisors, Care Management, Pharmacy, Quality and other EPH teams on quality improvement, care management, patient safety/high reliability, utilization management, and/or pediatric value-based care, as it relates to functional area

Evaluates and provides input into the strategic planning related to the functional area in order to drive performance in strategic and operational objectives related to the functional area

Identify and develop action plans to address performance improvement gaps within PHO in partnership with PHO Medical Director, as it relates to functional area

Acts as an internal Physician consultant for functional area to medical groups, aligned PHO Physician members, and service lines and leads meetings in functional champion area(s) to align efforts

Participates on key system, EPH/APP and PSA committees and events to facilitate strategic alignment of functional area population health area of focus with systemwide initiatives, while leveraging existing data sources and technology, where applicable

Dedicated hours from partial FTE spent on scheduled, structured activities with adequate time spent for preparation and follow-up, as determined in collaboration with Regional Medical Director

Education/Experience Required:
Level of Education: Doctorate Degree Experience: Minimum of 7 years experience in the clinical practice of medicine and minimum of 1-3 years experience in medical management or academic medicine

License/Registration/Certification: • Unrestricted Illinois Physician and Surgeon license • Maintain Borad certification in ABMS-certified specialty/suspecialty Issued by (Governing Body): American Board of Medical Specialties
