Major Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the team responsible for change management solutions, team and leadership training, contracting, vendor relations, process enhancements, and ATS strategies and outcomes.
  • Builds frameworks for scalable and sustainable recruiting practices aligned with Advocate Health goals within area of responsibilities which are in compliance with state and federal labor laws and regulations. 
  • Establishes TA training requirements and monitors compliance with operational processes to ensure the team transforms and optimizes the process with new/existing technologies and tools.
  • Oversees compliance with state and federal labor laws and regulations to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Develop and Design resources, playbooks, training and continuous learning programs for recruiters and hiring teams. 
  • Oversees vendor relationships and contracts, managing contractual obligations, renewals, termination and engagement with new tools and technologies.
  • Manages operational budget, monitoring solution renewals, engagement of new vendors and works with contracting/legal teams to ensure timely adoption of tools and technologies. 
  • Champions the implementation and improvement of ATC, CRM, and other recruiting technologies
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition, HR and business leaders to identify opportunities and implement enablement initiatives
  • Assess and streamline end-to-end recruiting process, bringing forward awareness to improve the candidate, hiring leader and recruiter experience.

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:

  • None

Education Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field.

Experience Required:

  • Requires 10 years of experience in Human Resources, with at least 5 years of management experience leading recruitment, human resources or service centered teams.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities to include project/staff coordination and motivating staff toward common goals. 
  • Ability to motivate, instruct, guide, and assign project teams and prioritize and meet multiple deadlines; works well under pressure. 
  • Ability to interface and build strong relationships at all levels throughout the organization.  
  • Highly motivated with a strong ability to take initiative; must have strong organizational skills.  
  • Knowledgeable of employment practices and law, confidentiality, and State and Federal compliance requirements for health care employment.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in providing training either in-person or online to small or large groups with users of varying computer knowledge/experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees, which is necessary to collaborate and address difficult and controversial issues.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • This position requires travel, therefore, will be exposed to weather and road conditions. 
  • Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
