Schedule Details/Additional Information:
M-F, 8 am – 5 pm with nights and weekends monitoring social and attending events/create content.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Develops and executes enterprise wide social media strategy to manage reputation and elevate brand awareness while ensuring stakeholder engagement.
  • Manages social platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc. and ensure high standards in quality content.
  • Deploys strategies to engage consumers through effective storytelling and advertising.
  • Leverages social platforms as a tool to engage internal audiences, including team member ambassador program.
  • Builds and manages site and system reputation through effective community management strategy.
  • Coordinates across functions to ensure social campaign management.
  • Monitors trends and analyzes social network to drive engagement and awareness.
  • Performs human resources responsibilities for staff which include interviewing and selection of new employees, promotions, staff development, performance evaluations, compensation changes, resolution of employee concerns, corrective actions, terminations, and overall employee morale.
  • Develops and recommends operating and capital budgets and controls expenditures within approved budget objectives.
  • Responsible for understanding and adhering to the organization’s Code of Ethical Conduct and for ensuring that personal actions, and the actions of employees supervised, comply with the policies, regulations and laws applicable to the organization’s business.

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:

  • None Required.

Education Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations or related field.

Experience Required:

  • Typically requires 7 years of experience in social media strategy. Includes 3 years of management experience in leading teams.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • This position requires travel, therefore, will be exposed to weather and road conditions.
