Food Service and Nutrition

Major Responsibilities:

The main responsibilities involve preparing food service areas, delivering meals to patients, assembling patient food trays, ordering supplies, cleaning assigned areas, and following instructions. The ability to communicate and respond to phones is also important. The physical demands include frequent bending, lifting up to 35 pounds, and potentially working in awkward positions. The work environment can involve noise, fumes, and various weather conditions.

Major Responsibilities:

This position requires a dedicated individual to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced healthcare environment. You will coordinate patient transportation, ensure timely and efficient service, and safely and comfortably transport patients while maintaining a positive atmosphere.  Your duties will include assisting patients with transfers, monitoring their condition, and maintaining equipment. Strong physical fitness, attention to detail, and compassion are essential for success in this role.  Your duties can include monitoring transportation systems, scheduling staff, resolving issues, and promoting a collaborative team environment. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.

Major Responsibilities:

The Public Safety role requires a professional and compassionate individual who can ensure safety and security within a healthcare environment. This includes patrolling, responding to emergencies, investigating incidents, and providing security education. The officer must be well-trained in various security techniques, including de-escalation, CPR, and Taser use.

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:

•  They must also have specific certifications and licenses, such as a CHSO, FOID card, and FCC.

Education Requirement:

• The Public Safety role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience in security, public safety, or customer service.

Major Responsibilities:

As a part of the Rehab Aide team maintaining and cleaning pediatric therapy areas, assisting with patient transportation and clerical tasks, and participating in professional development activities. The individual will ensure the cleanliness and organization of the therapy department, support patients and staff, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the facility.

Education Required:

• High School Education • 6 months of on the job training to acquire skill competencies

Major Responsibilities:

The CNA plays a vital role in patient care by assisting RNs with daily tasks. Their duties include providing personal care (bathing, feeding, hygiene), monitoring vital signs, collecting specimens, and maintaining a clean and organized patient environment. CNAs must adhere to infection prevention protocols, practice proper patient positioning and skin care, and be knowledgeable about age-specific patient needs. They must also have a basic understanding of medical procedures and be able to follow the directions of the RN.  CNAs also contribute to the admission, transfer, and discharge process.

• Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) needs to be obtained within 45 days, and
  • Nurse Aide in good standing as indicated with the State Registry in which the team member practices.

  Education Required:

  • Certificate of General Educational Development (GED) or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED), or
  • High School Graduate.

Additionally, RAs are responsible for maintaining equipment, organizing supplies, and documenting patient information accurately.

The Medical Assistant (MA) plays a crucial role in the medical office by preparing patients for exams, assisting with procedures, administering medications, and communicating with patients and healthcare providers. MAs ensure smooth clinic flow and contribute to the overall patient experience.

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) needs to be obtained within 45 days unless department leader has determined it is not required.

Education Required:

• GED or HS Equivalency Diploma.
• Completion of an accredited or approved program in Medical Assistant, or 2 years of verifiable full-time experience as a Medical Assistant within the last 5 years.

The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for developing competence in various pharmacy tasks, including medication dispensing, preparation, ordering, and management. They must also be proficient in using pharmacy systems and complying with legal and regulatory requirements.

• Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT) issued by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board needs to be obtained within 2 years, or
• Pharmacy Technician Certified (CPhT) issued by the National Healthcare Association needs to be obtained within 2 years.
