Position: Specialty Services Logistics Technician
Location: Christ Medical Center; Oak Lawn, IL.
Registry/PRN – scheduled on-call, as needed, to help fill in for departmental gaps and needs.
1st Shift hours when scheduled.
Major Responsibilities:

- Leadership Support and Collaboration
- Inventory Usage Analytics
Education/Experience Required:
- High School Diploma or GED 2-3 Experience in perioperative inventory management with operating knowledge of specialty departments included. (Specialty departments can include the following or variations of the following: Cath Lab, surgical OR, I/R, E.P.)
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
- Strong computer skills; Ability to use a barcode scanner; Lawson ERP knowledge; 2-Bin inventory management knowledge; PAR replenishment and cycle count capability.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- This position will require moving various types of inventory containers, as well as bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling, stretching, computer reading, and data entry.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance. For lifts over 35 pounds, lifting equipment is expected to be used or lift with at least one other associate when available. Unique lifting/movement situations will be assessed on a case by case basis.
