MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Works closely with SVP IT Service Delivery to foster trust, develop relationships and lead integration bringing Atrium and Advocate Aurora together.

  • Expertise and understanding of CORE Connect and Workday, functioning as a trusted liaison within IT but also finance, HR, TA, senior leaders, and integration teams.

  • Leading IT teammate integration by tracking all fte’s, revising job profiles and meeting compensation and HR requirements, working with IT leaders and TA partners on IT hires while keeping SVP IT Service Delivery abreast of the promotional process, which culminates twice a year beginning in 2025.

  • Creates org structures, helps lead some of the surveys and data they need to provide, follows up with leaders.

    • Identify what systems are in place and the number of fte’s in each function.

    • Need an understanding of IT organizational functions.

    • Will need to develop relationships with those functional leaders to obtain data

  • Role will require someone to be very analytical and comfortable with data mining, be very timely, and manage competing priorities.

    • Will need to respond quickly, get comfortable with data, but also share and obtain data from leaders.

    • Will interface with any level within IT, liaison with TA, HR, Finance, internal business office within IT.

  • This person will support over 3200 IT Teammates and manage the internal HR function specific to IT prior to partnering with our HRBPs, including leading recommendations for out of cycle pay adjustments and/or compression studies, driving consistency across IT.

  • Reviews vacant roles requests to fill and has oversight for which fte’s and job profile revisions go to the oversight review committee.

    • Tracks all moving parts and teammates, specific to fte equivalence; provides information crucial to IT teammate budgeting.

  • There is a need for high trust, confidentiality, ability to lead through influence and change management skill.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Level of Education:  Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field

Years of Experience: 

  • Typically requires 7 years in project management, with at least five of these being responsible for large complex projects (above $1M) with a proven record of successful project delivery using expertise in the use of modern project management methodologies.

Seeking:

  • Ideally someone who understands Workday, CORE Connect.

  • Has experience with confidentiality, data mining, leading through influence, successful interactions with senior leadership, ability to engage and develop rapport, comfortable pushing back.

  • Attention to detail, ability to prioritize and work through large data sets with huge surges.

  • Ability to navigate between Advocate Southeast and Midwest regions.

  • Self-starter, self-directed; and provides proactive updates.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSA)

  • Strong analytical thinker able to break down projects into appropriate sub-components.

  • Self-starter comfortable taking the initiative and making decisions on the best available information.

  • Detail oriented with ability to handle project complexity and detail. Ability to identify key elements and define detailed project work-break-down structures to incorporate them into project plans.

  • Delivery focused and tenacious with ability to work through the challenges associated with large complex projects in order to focus on the key project objectives.

  • Expertise in industry standard program management methodologies and tools.

  • Ability to lead diverse technical resources that possess expertise in different domains.

  • Team oriented with ability to form high performing teams from sets of diverse players. Strong influencing and persuasion skills with ability to influence peers, superiors, and subordinates.

  • Strong communication skills and tools with demonstrated ability to concisely communicate with senior leaders. Key to establishing goals, milestones, and priorities.

  • Requires extensive amounts of time working at a computer.

  • Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
