Oversee three Out-patient clinics with supervisor support x 3.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Manages the department operations of rehab services which may will include multiple sites and types of clinical care. Responsible for the referral management and profitability for the multiple clinics.

  • Executes the system standards to all activities related to achieving all quality, program outcomes, process/performance improvement, and patient satisfaction benchmarks. Colborates with regional leadership to ensure the Rehab needs are met within the area.

  • Manages the day to day activities of all support and clinical staff and/or assigned clinical leads to ensure all patients within area have received the needed services. Ensures staff competencies and works with local and regional level to complete staff training and core competencies.

  • Manages all sites productivity, growth targets, quality outcomes consistent measure to drive performance. In collaboration with regional leadership, will develop growth tactics and develop reports to measure them on a weekly and/or monthly basis.

  • Ensure compliance with documentation, billing/fee structure and pre-admitting staff to maximize reimbursement and minimize denials for all services at the clinic/site. Assumes responsibility to understand all aspects of billing and ensures all staff understand this key competency.

  • Implements sites goals and KRA objectives that support the strategic vision of the Rehab Network. Partner with all key stakeholders to meet all site specific and cultural community needs.

  • Partners with other leadership on operational and clinical issues that facilitates the vision of the right level of care for all therapy patients. Collborates with PAN leadership to establish and achieve key result area initialtives.

  • Ensures that all sites meet local, state and federal compliance standards, guidelines and practices. Ensure DNV compliance or proper accrediting agency.

  • May include clinical patient care or direct front line work to support the daily operations.

  • Monitors physician referral trends and adjusts strategies accordingly. Addresses outliers with a consistent plan and approach.

  • Performs human resources responsibilities for staff which include interviewing and selection of new employees, promotions, staff development, performance evaluations, compensation changes, resolution of employee concerns, corrective actions, terminations, and overall employee morale.

  • Develops and recommends operating and capital budgets and controls expenditures within approved budget objectives.

  • Responsible for understanding and adhering to the organization's Code of Ethical Conduct and for ensuring that personal actions, and the actions of employees supervised, comply with the policies, regulations and laws applicable to the organization's business.

Licensure:

  • Physical Therapist OR Speech Language Pathologist OR Occupational Therapist

Education/Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, or Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy, or Bachelor's Degree in Speech Pathology or, Bachelor's Degree in Business or, Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Administration Typically requires 5 years of experience in providing clinical therapy services in a rehabilitation setting. Includes 1 year of supervisory experience in management of staff, budgets and multiple rehabilitation functions at the supervisory or manager level.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

  • Demonstrated leadership skills including project management, decision making, delegation, prioritization, team building, time management, customer service, and conflict resolution. Intermediate computer skills including use of Microsoft Office or similar products. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organization skills

  • Physical Therapist license issued by the state in which the team member practices, or Occupational Therapist license issued by the state in which the team member practices, or Speech-Language Pathology license issued by the state in which the team member practices

Physicial Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • This position requires travel, therefore, will be exposed to weather and road conditions. Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job. Exposed to a normal office environment.
