Position: Physical Security IT Coordinator
Location: Aurora Health Care Corporate; 750 W. Virginia St., Milwaukee, WI.

Major Responsibilities:
- Manages the execution of medium to large scale information technology projects and ensure adherence to budget, schedule and scope. Establishes targets, benchmarks, and success criteria for project delivery and plans, organizes, controls and evaluates projects from concept phase to implementation. Ensures effective utilization of all project resources, people and equipment, through all phases of the project to achieve project goals and to ensure project remains fiscally on target.
- Develops and updates project plans including information such as project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, scheduling, funding and staffing; identifying potential risks and contingency plans. Ensures all project objectives are clearly documented, approved and delivered.
- Establishes and maintains effective and continuous communication with IT management, business partners, and project team members on project status, issues, and any changes to the project scope, budget, timeline, and/or resources. Produces regular reports showing progress towards project timelines and budget, and holds regular status meetings with project team.
- Assists with the management of hardware, software and/or consultant contracts and service agreements. Establishes and maintains vendor relationships.
- Oversees the development, execution, administration, and evaluation of physical security technology systems processes and mechanisms to support the mission, vision, values, and strategic initiatives.
- Evaluates and selects physical security systems hardware and software ensuring that systems are designed and interfaced in a manner, which satisfies the users of the systems, and that all components are maintained, accessible, and integrated to satisfy users. Serves as the primary contract for operational leadership in the corresponding building systems areas.
- Responsible for executing and providing the results and conclusions of all phases of building systems, as defined by the long-range systems plan and the conceptual design, are accomplished according to established time frames. Communicates accordingly with various users, committees, and affiliates related to system plans, designs, and project status.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:
- None Required.
Education Required:
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent knowledge) in Information Technology or related field.
Experience Required:
- Typically requires 3 years of experience in management that includes experiences in project management and managing cross-functional teams/projects or physical security technology initiatives preferably in a healthcare environment.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
- Strong written and oral communication skills with demonstrated ability to concisely communicate with key leaders.
- Ability to establish goals, milestones and priorities, ensuring team members understand work assignments and in communicating project status, risks and issues to management.
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite
- Working knowledge of complex networks, IT infrastructure, and physical security integrations and applications.
- Ability to work and remain flexible in a dynamic environment with multiple dependencies for highly visible, complex, system-wide project implementations.
- Proficient in use of project and program management methodologies and tools.
- Highly motivated, organized, self-starter with focus on delivery of key project objectives with the ability to work through challenges associated with moderately complex projects.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills and evidence of being a strong team player. Possesses a strong orientation toward innovation and new ideas.
- Strong facilitation and persuasion skills.
- Knowledge of physical security access control systems, video management systems, visitor management systems, physical security integration management systems and building alarm systems.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Position may require travel. May be exposed to road and weather hazards.
- Exposed to a normal office environment.
- Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
