Schedule Details/Additional Information:
Typically 1st shift hours – flexible schedule, occasional weekends as needed.
Supervises concierge / screening staff operations for site(s) as assigned.
- Greets patients and assesses their immediate needs. Successfully manages the first impression of the medical center.
- Assists in maintaining a smooth traffic flow at the entrances to the facility.
- Assists manager to conduct daily huddles and rounding to ensure all team members are updated on daily concerns/issues or situations that impact all who enter the facility.
- Serves as expert on regulatory guidelines for screening, visitation and safety guidelines for the team.
- Assists with real-time patient/visitor concerns and complaint resolution that are escalated to the manager for the department.
- Utilizes appropriate resources to verify patient/visitor destination and provides accurate directions.
- Offers assistance in any way necessary to include assists in/out of vehicles, locate wheelchairs, escort to destination. Remains with patient if they are alone or in a wheelchair until proper hand-off is made.
- Responsible for all department keys, pass cards, etc.
- Assists patients with transportation needs, ie: taxi vouchers, bus passes, van transport or other special needs.
- Ensures work areas are clean of debris, safe and free from obstacles.

Degrees
High School Graduate (or equivalent knowledge).
Required Functional Experience
Typically requires 3 years of experience in hospitality services or related field, with experience as a lead or senior level staff.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
High level of demonstrable customer service/customer relations skills typically obtained through customer service work experience.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Demonstrated organizational, coaching, and counseling skills, including the ability to supervise large numbers of staff in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment.Proven effective critical thinking, creativity, problem solving and decision-making skills.Self-directed, flexible and possesses the ability to handle a high degree of pressure with effective time-management. Intermediate computer skills with windows applications and other automated systems.
