Schedule Details/Additional Information:
Full time, remote. M-F. Hours are flexible.
Major Responsibilities:
- Ensures education is developed and promoted within JA guidelines, Advocate Health compliance policies, and Advocate Health IPCE policies by reviewing documentation and making independent decisions about approval for credit.
- Builds effective relationships with activity directors, planners, and other team members to ensure successful implementation of IPCE activities.
- Collects and approves documentation in support of accreditation including but not limited disclosures, conflict of interest mitigation, and clinical content reviews.
- Reviews and approves promotional materials in compliance with Advocate Health branding and IPCE guidelines.
- Manages activities through an online learning management system; supports learners by pulling transcripts and assisting in the navigation of the platform.
- Supports evaluation of IPCE program through the creation, distribution, and aggregation of surveys, interviews, and/or patient outcomes.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:
Education Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Experience Required:
- Typically requires 2 years of experience in continuing education and/or healthcare.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with all levels of staff, physicians, management, executives, and a wide variety of internal and external accrediting bodies, medical specialty societies, vendors, collaborators and stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational skills including the ability to multi-task and have an exceptional attention to detail.
- Intermediate computer skills including demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word) or similar products, and web based or e-learning systems. Aptitude to learn new software quickly.
- Knowledge and interest in adult education theory for the planning and programming of educational activities. Ability to make independent decisions within established guidelines regarding planning, organizing, and scheduling own work.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- This position requires travel, therefore, will be exposed to weather and road conditions.
- Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
