Will work from 9a-4:30pm under the Nursing Assistant Trainee role five days a week
Upon completion of the program you will work from 7p-7a three days a week as a CNA
Major Responsibilities:
- Offers various assistance to patients to include when applicable: arranging transportation needs, providing directions, locating wheelchair, answering call lights, passing food trays, etc.
- Performs routine office assistant duties to support the department as needed, i.e. copying, faxing, opening mail and data distribution.
- Maintains all storage and equipment areas in an organized fashion. Replenishes point of use supplies.
- Cleans soiled public equipment after each use to avoid spread of disease.
- May perform basic word processing and data entry duties.
- Other responsibilities assigned by staff that are appropriate based on individual’s school program enrollment and level of training received.
License/Registration/Certification:
- None required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) needs to be obtained within 45 days, and
- Should be within good standing as indicated with the State Registry in which the team member practices.

- No Formal Education.

- Ability to work independently.
- Agile – ability to change direction/focus as needed.
- Strong customer service/patient experience skills.
- Ability to collaborate with multiple departments.
- Ability to manage multiple, complex and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift.
- Must operate all equipment necessary to perform the duties of the job.
- Must be able to continuously use a keyboard.
- Must have functional speech, vision, and hearing.
- Must be able to concentrate on minute detail with frequent interruptions.
