Schedule Details/Additional Information:
Remote role with some limited travel throughout the Illinois and Wisconsin footprint of Advocate Health required.

This role supports the implementation of operational enhancements as well as ongoing sustainment of necessary work in order to deliver high-quality and safe patient care across the Medical Group of Advocate Health’s Midwest Region. This role also supports operational teams as the teams engage in regional or local continuous improvement.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support effective, efficient, safe operations throughout the Medical Group of Advocate Health’s Midwest Region.  
  • Works in close collaboration with physicians, advanced practice clinicians (APCs), operational leaders, and clinical leaders. Acts as a catalyst and role model for behavioral and process change. 
  • Provides basic tools and establishes expectations for local operations leaders to ensure achievement of operational goals, escalates problems in need of more advanced support to broader Ops Implementation Team 
  • Provides ongoing sustainment, monitoring, and elevation of best practices related to operations. 
  • Works collaboratively to update policies and procedures, ensures dissemination, and supports education/training. 
  • Develops mechanisms to ensure local operational compliance with established medical group standards and assists outliers in local improvement efforts. 
  • Supports multi-disciplinary teams to define objectives and progress utilizing analytical data for support. 
  • Provides analysis of workflows and recommendations for improvements. 
  • Undertakes active learning on topics of ambulatory operations in healthcare. 

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

License/Registration/Certification Required: None Required

Education Required: ​​Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare administration, nursing, allied health or related field.

Experience Required: No experience required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • ​​Excellent analytical, problem solving and quantitative skills; comfortable interpreting large amounts of data.  
  • Excellent follow up skills with attention to detail; organized and efficient. 
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in ambiguity and changing priorities. 
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and with a wide variety of professionals at all levels of the health care system.  
  • High degree of skill with Microsoft product suite including PowerPoint, Excel, Word.  
  • Exposure to Microsoft SharePoint. 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

​​​This position may require local travel to ambulatory and hospital sites or industry forums. Work hours may be flexible on occasion but are generally standard business hours
