Schedule Details/Additional Information:
Monday – Friday 11:15am- 2:30pm

Major Responsibilities:

  • Offers various assistance to patients to include when applicable: arranging transportation needs, providing directions, locating wheelchair, answering call lights, passing food trays, etc. 
  • Performs routine office assistant duties to support the department as needed, i.e. copying, faxing, opening mail and data distribution. 
  • Maintains all storage and equipment areas in an organized fashion. Replenishes point of use supplies.  
  • Cleans soiled public equipment after each use to avoid spread of disease.  
  • May perform basic word processing and data entry duties. 
  • Other responsibilities assigned by staff that are appropriate based on individual’s school program enrollment and level of training received.

License/Registration/Certification:

  • None required.

  • Ability to work independently.
  • Agile – ability to change direction/focus as needed.
  • Strong customer service/patient experience skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple departments.
  • Ability to manage multiple, complex and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift.
  • Must operate all equipment necessary to perform the duties of the job. 
  • Must be able to continuously use a keyboard. 
  • Must have functional speech, vision, and hearing. 
  • Must be able to concentrate on minute detail with frequent interruptions.
