Schedule Details/Additional Information:
M-F, 40 hours a week, remote worker
Major Responsibilities:
Provide innovative leadership to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives for process improvements to achieve optimal efficiency, cost reduction, and value for the cash accounting and analytics functions.
Build and lead a high-performing team of managers and professional staff, providing guidance, mentoring, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Oversee the implementation and optimization of software solutions, develop and maintain data analytical tools, and drive organizational change through technology adoption.
Ensure the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of financial data within the area of responsibility.
Serve as the primary liaison to the Revenue Cycle team, coordinate the timeliness of resolution and root cause analysis of unreconciled and/or unapplied cash, and foster positive working relationships with leaders in Revenue Cycle.
Manage metrics, KPIs, and trend analysis of performance for operations leaders, and continuously monitor end-user acceptance, satisfaction, and optimization opportunities.
Maintain strong internal controls within the cash collections environment and ensure administrative policies and procedures related to those functions are periodically updated.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:

Education Required:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance.
Experience Required:
Minimum of 5 years of progressive management experience in a large health system setting. 7 years minimum required experience working in high volume healthcare setting, ideally with a focus/experience in finance, accounting, or treasury. Non-healthcare industry experience will be considered in lieu of direct healthcare experience. Experience in a leadership or managerial role required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
Must possess in-depth knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, proficiency in accounting systems, and strong operational knowledge of the revenue cycle and cash accounting process.
Strong communication skills, presentation skills and executive presence required.
Must have strong project management skills and be able to perform as a project leader to deliver results under deadlines as well as working effectively cross-functionally in a rapidly changing environment.
Must be capable of exercising strategic decisions in areas of high complexity.
Proven experience in leading and managing teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in financial software and data analytics tools.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
