Schedule Details/Additional Information:
- full-time, 1st shift (shift begins at 3am)
- 12-hour shifts
- weekend & holiday rotation required
Major Responsibilities:
- Communication and Coordination:
- Answer phones, relay messages, and manage communication systems.
- Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers of patients.
- Facilitate communication between the healthcare team, patients, and families.
- Record Management:
- Maintain and update electronic health records.
- Prepare and manage patient charts and other documentation.
- Ensure accurate and timely filing of medical records.
- Administrative Support:
- Schedule patient appointments, tests, and procedures.
- Order medical supplies and manage inventory.
- Transcribe doctor's orders and other medical documentation.
- Patient Support:
- Greet and assist patients and visitors.
- Address patient inquiries and concerns.
- Ensure patient confidentiality and privacy.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of clerical experience, preferably in a hospital, clinic, or healthcare setting.
- Strong computer skills with the ability to enter and look up data accurately
