Remote Role

Provides consultation for complex team member relations issues in an effort to mitigate organizational risk through engaged interactions with leaders and staff to resolve human resources issues. Provides consultation to leaders and team members focusing on performance management, conflict resolution, policy interpretation and application, and effective responses to employment charges. Serves as liaison to site-based HR leaders ensuring proper communication, collaboration and information sharing. Responsibilities also include seeking process improvement opportunities and coaching Team Member Relations Consultants.

Provides consultation to leaders and staff on more complex team member relations issues involving physicians, allegations of harassment, discrimination, unfair treatment, etc. Identifies process improvement opportunities. Serves as resource, mentor, and coach to Team Member Relations Consultants. Provides input to Dir Team Member Relations on staff effectiveness and developmental opportunities. Helps ensure caseloads are appropriately balanced.

 

Serves as a liaison between site based HR leadership and team member relations, ensuring proper communication, collaboration and information sharing and skillfully advises leaders and team members on performance management issues including coaching, performance review, and corrective action. Collaborates with legal department to respond to employment charges from government agencies (e.g. EEOC), state agencies (e.g. Illinois or Wisconsin Department of Human Rights), as well as attorney liens.

Serves as system resource for initiation of conflict resolution process and is responsible for corrective action, counseling, and follow up to completion. Serves as the primary resource for leaders regarding administration of human resources policies and programs as well as policy interpretation and application. Consults with leaders on unemployment insurance matters in conjunction with HR Service Center and may attend unemployment hearings.

Degrees

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, or

Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, or

Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field.

Required Functional Experience

Typically requires 5 years of experience in employee relations.
