MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties: The Director Cloud Analytics Services at Advocate Aurora Health, Inc. In Milwaukee, Wisconsin will
- Provide strategic direction to enable cross functional analytics and oversee adoption and expansion of cloud data services for analytical consumption by Advocate Health functional teams.
- Support the creation of a technology framework and provides technical leadership in support of company initiatives in cloud computing and automation, with a focus on designing systems and services that run on cloud platforms.
- People Management of architects and team members who will be delivering analytical solutions under cloud data engineering department.
- Establish and implement data security and privacy rules for the data warehouse. Support the strategic move to an expanded use of user driven ad hoc query and reporting.
- Ensure the implementation of required auditing of access to Personal Health Information and other HIPAA requirements.
Telecommuting available from many states in the U.S. 25% travel required to company sites located in Wisconsin and Illinois. **Candidate can reside in any of the following states: AL, AR, AZ, DC, FL, GA, IL, IN, LA, MI, MN, MO, NC, NV, OH, OK, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, WI, WY.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or a directly related field, plus seven years of data architect experience planning, directing, and coordinate activities for electronic data processing, information systems, systems analysis and computer programming.
- The seven years of experience must include two years in each of the following: 1) cloud analytics platform delivery with an integrated healthcare system; 2) business intelligence solutions including end-to-end data architecture; 3) developing and maintaining data schema for enterprise data warehouse; and 4) Azure, Snowflake, Fivetran, dbt Cloud, and Power BI Platform.
- Must also have three years of people management experience.
