Major Responsibilities:
Drive scope definition, requirements analysis, data validation, and project enablement.
Perform proactive data analysis to identify trends, relationships, and create artifacts to inform data engineering design and development.
Develop source-to-target mappings, functional and technical requirements for data engineering teams.
Provide analysis for new use cases, enhancements to existing capabilities, and ways to leverage data to better serve consumers.
Document and test data processes through data validation and verification scripts.
Monitor and track defects, working with developers to resolve issues and ensure documents are updated as necessary.
Collaborate with cross functional team to resolve data quality and operational issues.
Collaborate with internal data teams to ensure seamless data ingestion, validation, and transformation.
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports.
Maintain overall industry knowledge on latest trends, technology, etc.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:
None required.
Education Required:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
Experience Required:
Typically requires 2 years of experience in at least two IT disciplines, including data analysis, business analysis, database management, and project management.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
Must have experience in data analysis methods, frameworks and processes.
Adept in communicating and presenting complex information to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.
Excellent organizational skills and have an in-depth understanding of project management methodologies.
