Schedule Details/Additional Information:
Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Performs post-breast surgery bra and breast form fittings and provides education and instruction on use of products.
  • Assists clients in the fit, color, and style selection of cranial prosthesis for appearance restoration following medical hair loss. Educates client on proper wig care.
  • Documents in the medical records to track measurements and products that were supplied and enters charges. Follows up with physician when necessary.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of merchandise including special cancer-related and products, books, gifts, salon services, breastfeeding products and complimentary services.
  • Performs sale of merchandise in person or via phone. Responsible for accurate cash, check and credit card transactions.
  • Assists manager with ordering products for sale in the boutique. Ensures proper inventory management.
  • Assists with visual merchandising, which includes product display, store cleanliness, product and fixture placement, signage, and merchandise planning. Plans and implements special promotional events (i.e. holidays, sidewalk sale, etc.).
  • Performs clerical duties to support acupuncture and massage therapy, including scheduling and registering appointments, chart preparation and charge entry.
  • Establishes positive patient/customer relationships to ensure return business. Assist customers with returns and complaints.

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:

  • None Required.

Education Required:

  • High School Graduate.

Experience Required:

  • Typically requires 3 years of experience in retail operations that includes experiences in display arrangement, inventory control, cash balancing, merchandising, selling, and/or clinical experience with durable medical equipment.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

  • Excellent communication (including perceptive listening), customer service and organizational skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office or similar products, electronic mail and patient billing software.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and handle cash.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to stand and walk throughout the workday.
  • Able to frequently lift up to 50 lbs. (i.e., stocking).
  • Must have functional speech, vision, hearing, and touch.
  • Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
