Schedule Details/Additional Information:
Fully on-site role assigned to work 0800-430 Monday – Friday.

Manages the implementation, maintenance and continuous process improvement efforts of EVS training programs.  Ensures adherence to adult education principles and techniques and the incorporation of standardized best practice processes and procedures.  Manages the integration of standardized processes; establishes controls and review mechanisms for training policies and procedures; and provides input for process design and other implementation activities.  May assist in hospital and clinic implementation activities related to functional area.

Major Responsibilities:
Oversees hospital, clinic and/or site based training needs related to functional area, and coordinates initiatives across facilities to ensure standardization and sharing of best practices. Develops the methodology, content, curriculum and schedules for training events.

Assesses developmental needs to drive training initiatives. Performs an annual education needs assessment as input into the strategic education program.

Conducts follow-up studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results, modify programs as needed, and develop effective training materials utilizing a variety of media sources. Ensures quality review measurements are in place.

Develops and maintains education policies and procedures to ensure compliance with training requirements. Stays abreast of regulatory requirements and company compliance policies, ensuring timely staff education.

Manages and promotes implementation of standard processes and education programs.

Identifies and implements process improvements related to training to lower costs and improve education and training programs.

Partners with quality assurance and infection control to design training needed to support deficiencies or gaps identified in the competency review and auditing processes.

Monitor, manage and report out on metrics related to quality assurance, mandatory training, true north metrics and department performance results. Make suggestions and recommendations for quality improvement strategies.

Develop and deliver department on-boarding processes.

Identify and administer certification requirements for applicable staff.

Education/Experience Required:
Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field. Experience Required: Typically requires 4 years of experience in instructional design, adult education and training program presentation.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
Expertise in developing and executing education programs that ensure translation of teachings into actions, promote learner involvement and demonstrate innovative coaching skills when managing education/development issues. Excellent verbal and communication skills. Ability to deal and work effectively with multiple departments and in matrix organizational structures. Proven ability to influence others not directly reporting to them. Strong negotiating skills. Demonstrate analytical ability and presentation skills. Ability to guide individuals and groups toward desired outcomes, setting high performance standards and delivering leading quality services. Proven experience in establishing and maintaining long-term customer relationships, building trust and respect by consistently meeting and exceeding expectations. Demonstrate ability to develop strategic and tactical plans to meet business objectives in a large healthcare system. Demonstrate competency in delegation, managing multiple priorities, problem solving and decision making. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and others as required. Demonstrated skills in financial and statistical analysis necessary to examine Revenue Cycle activities and detect/resolve any related issues. Comprehensive evaluation skills for determining skill and knowledge compliance requirements in an accounts receivable environment.

This position requires travel, therefore, will be exposed to weather and road conditions. Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job. Exposed to a normal office environment.
