Schedule Details/Additional Information:

Executes Advocate Health’s internal communications content strategy, in line with the wider internal communications strategy and business strategy and priorities
Leads the integration of AI tools into the construct of the communications function
Leads the tech-focused drivers of the communications strategy, including which include, but are not limited to the integration and evolution of intranet-style platforms, building and maintenance of SharePoint sites to serve the strategy and the platform crosswalk strategy that drives audience management
Embeds AI into the processes and governance that drives communication scheduling and prioritization, working closely with leadership and content owners
Embeds AI in the management of a centralized "air traffic control" function to coordinate timing, relevance and frequency of messages
Integrates technology into channel optimization and measurement activity
Stays current on emerging communication technologies and platforms to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our channels, with a focus on intranet evolution, internal social media and internal communications best practices and trends
Minimum Job Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, advertising or other business-related field, or bachelor’s degree combined with relevant experience.
Work Experience
Typically requires 7 years of experience in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or other business-related field, including experience with formulating and executing comprehensive communications strategies.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
- An experience user of AI tools and resources
- A strategic thinker and creative problem-solver with a track record in internal communications, with a particular focus on reaching diverse audiences with varying levels of access to company-sponsored information.
- Ability to think big picture to foresee reputational risks and opportunities and zoom into critical details, nuances and variables to inform internal communications strategies and responses.
- Comfortable working across departments and businesses to bring a calm demeanor and coordinated approach to company issues, balancing competing perspectives and the needs of stakeholders at all levels.
- Proactive, independent, and takes initiative with consistent follow through.
- Superb communication skills, verbal and written, conducted in a timely manner.
- Superior time management skills with capability of working with and meeting deadlines.
