Registered Nurse (RN) – Revenue Capture & Audit Registered Nurse

Where You Will Work:
- Surgical Services
- Part Time – 20 Hours a Week
- Schedule: 2-3 days a week, alternating Fridays, no holidays, no weekends, no on-call.
- Work hours would be 8am-430p.Holiday work/call rotation
- Level 1 Trauma Center
- 12 Operating Rooms, including specially equipped suites for cardiovascular and neurosurgery procedures.
- Surgical capabilities include Cosmetic, generally, gastro, gynecological, neuro, open heart, ophthalmology, ortho, otolaryngology, plastic, thoracic/vascular, urology, and weight loss.
We’re Looking For:
- This position works collaboratively with users of the Surginet system and provides a coordinated effort in the application, charge capture and data entry for the operating room.
- Maintain charge capture for Surginet/Allegra using a working knowledge of Lawson and Surginet systems.
- Provide Regulatory and Compliance expertise for Surginet.
- Provide proactive audits of the Surginet system.
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Experience with Surginet database.
- 3-5 years of experience working in a hospital surgical setting.

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
