Schedule Details/Additional Information:
Three 8-hour shifts per weekincluding every other weekend plus holidays0630-1500
Position Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent. One year hospital experience. Ability to identify cardiac arrhythmias. Ability to identify grossly abnormal EKG's and MI's. Registered or Certified status with NBCVT or obtain within one year employment. CPR certified within 90 days of employment.. Must be able to work 7 days per week rotation schedule (including holiday shifts).
(Travel, hazardous conditions, on call). Must be able to meet flexible staffing requirements.
If position has direct patient care or direct patient contact the following lifting requirement supersedes any previous lifting requirement effective 06/01/2015. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance. For patient lifts of over 35 pounds, or when patient is unable to assist with the lift, patient handling equipment is expected to be used, with at least one other associate, when available. Unique patient lifting/movement situations will be assessed on a case~by~case basis.
Purpose:
To perform non~invasive Cardiology services in the areas of electrocardiography and Holter Monitoring with a customer satisfaction focus.
Accountabilities:
Performs EKG's
Maintenance of departmental logs, equipment, records, and exam rooms.

Additional Information: High degree of Cardiac Arrhythmia knowledge and skills related to cardiac procedures. Ability to work independently and make decisions
This position will need to recognize needs and behaviors of a variety of age groups of patients treated, i.e.: understand child growth and development, normal patterns of adolescent behavior and look for signs of normal aging prior experience with various age groups is preferred.
