Provide leadership and mentorship to Physician PHO members in achieving High Performing Network priorities of quality, efficiency and engagement
Collaborate with PHO Director, Field Advisors, Care Management, Pharmacy, Quality and other EPH teams on quality and performance initiatives
Maintain a close working relationship with hospital CMO and post-acute partners
Attend, and lead when called on, APP and hospital meetings concerning quality, utilization, finance, performance and any administrative meetings as necessary
Identify and develop action plans to address performance improvement gaps within PHO
Perform utilization and referral reviews as assigned and in partnership with APP Medical Operations, including Utilization Management (UM), Referrals, and Integrated Care Management in a timely manner and leveraging Epic Care Link platform, where applicable for performing PHO managed care regulatory duties
Actively engage in financial review and planning for the PHO managed care finances and value-based lives membership
Identify potential new leaders and collaborate with hospital and PHO leadership on succession planning for PHO Board and other PHO governance activities
Supports population health initiatives and efforts in key functional areas in collaboration with Associate Medical Director(s) for Population Health, as directed by Regional Medical Director

Education/Experience Required:
Level of Education: Doctorate Degree Experience: Minimum of 7 years experience in the clinical practice of medicine and minimum of 3-5 years experience in medical management or academic medicine
