Schedule Details/Additional Information:
Primary a remote role with occasional travel (up to once per month)
Major Responsibilities:
- Lead the annual planning process, ensuring alignment with Advocate Health’s strategic goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive the People and Culture function forward.
- Collaborate with the People & Culture Leadership Team (PCLT) to drive strategic initiatives and ensure alignment across all functions. Serve as a trusted advisor to PCLT.
- Drive the People and Culture goal-setting framework (OKR) and ensure success metrics are created and met. Establish and maintain an effective operating rhythm to support strategic initiatives.
- Oversee the evolution of the People and Culture function, including the transformation of the operating model.
- Lead special projects related to People and Culture transformation, growth, and innovation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives.
- Develop a strategy to address and continually monitor business continuity and risk mitigation within the People and Culture function. Develop and implement strategies to address potential risks and ensure operational resilience.
- Responsible for promoting continuous learning within the PCLT, ensuring a global perspective and outside-in view for People & Culture.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:
- None required
Education Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
Experience Required:
- Typically requires 7 years of experience in HR Strategy development, strategic planning, project management or equivalent experience
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
- Extensive experience in HR strategy development, strategic planning, and executive leadership.
- Strong understanding of organizational development, change management, and business continuity planning.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated experience in operating effectively within a large, matrixed healthcare organization.
