First shift with some flexibility for multiple time zones, position will be remote!
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ability to think strategically, synthesis disparate sources of information into specific insights or recommendations, and overall have a strategic mindset. Strong collaboration skills working closely with leaders in IT, finance, business development, operations, physicians, and other leaders as required. Sequence activity across all portfolios of enterprise consulting work. Partner with enterprise leaders to ensure appropriate guidance and deployment of framework by enterprise consulting teammates. Provide guidance and support to teammates, ensuring adherence to project management standards and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Plays a key role in the development and maintenance of methodology and approaches. Supports program and project management methodologies, toolsets, and best practices and oversees their implementation and application.
- Collaborate with other leaders within the Enterprise Consulting Group to ensure alignment and coordination of projects and initiatives. Foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing among team members, promoting cross-functional learning and best practices. Identify opportunities for synergy and efficiency across projects and workstreams. Contribute to the development and implementation of enterprise consulting strategic vision and objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executive leadership, operational leaders, and project sponsors. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their strategic priorities and align project objectives with organizational goals. Communicate project updates, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. Proactively manage stakeholder expectations and resolve conflicts to ensure project success.
- Create and execute change management plans to ensure successful adoption of solutions and redesigned work. Provide partnership and support to site leaders and staff during the implementation process.
- Proactively, communicates progress to the leadership teams (Enterprise Conuslting, System leaders and key stakeholders) regarding the implementation and value delivered of all projects and strategies. Ensures all targets are met and completed on schedule and within budget. Provides leadership and identifies strategic and operational project opportunities across the system to create superior value, service excellence and a high-performing culture in an integrated approach. Leverages project and program management systems to partner with leaders to identify priorities that could then feed into the Enterprise consulting pipeline of opportunities to be prioritized for staffing.
- Performs human resources responsibilities for staff which include interviewing and selection of new employees, promotions, staff development, performance evaluations, compensation changes, resolution of employee concerns, corrective actions, terminations, and overall employee morale.
- Develops and recommends operating and capital budgets and controls expenditures within approved budget objectives.
- Responsible for understanding and adhering to the organization's Code of Ethical Conduct and for ensuring that personal actions, and the actions of employees supervised, comply with the policies, regulations, and laws applicable to the organization's business.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Level of Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or Related Field
Years of Experience: 10 years or more in project management, facilitation of large cross-functional team in business or clinical operations, technology improvement areas, business development, strategy, operational and/or management consulting functions. Typically requires 3 years of management experience in strategic planning and project / program management, including implementing projects / programs directly connected to the organization’s strategic plan, vision, mission, and values.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSA)
- Skills and demonstrated experience in providing consultation, developing, facilitating, and leading strategic large-scale projects to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
- Skills in prioritizing programs and projects based on changing needs, strategic initiatives, resource capacity and risk exposure.
- Experience in business case / value proposition development, business analysis, project / program resource planning, reporting, prioritization, and budgeting.
- Demonstrated knowledge of problem-solving methodologies, continuous improvement methods, project management methods, and analytical tools and methodologies.
- Skills and demonstrated experience in establishing excellent collaborative working relationships and strategic partnering with individuals and teams at various levels and from various fields of expertise, including executive leadership, to achieve a shared vision, values, and objectives.
- Strong facilitation and persuasion skills with ability to influence others.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills with evidence of being a strong team player.
- Ability to recognize issues / risks, escalate as appropriate, identify alternatives, and collaborate with leadership on issue resolution and risk mitigation.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
- This position requires travel, therefore, will be exposed to weather and road conditions.
- Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
- Exposed to a normal office environment.
- Position is hybrid, ability to travel to an Advocate facility with 24 hours’ notice is required.
