Schedule Details/Additional Information:
This is a full-time, Mon-Fri business hours remote role. Advocate may approve remote workers who reside in the following registered states: AL, AK, AR, AZ, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, LA, KS, KY, ME, MI, MO, MS, MT, NC, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WI, WV, WY. Proven experience administering Workday Security, including security groups, domains, and business process security. Strong understanding of role-based and user-based security models and access controls. Experience supporting audits, access reviews, and compliance documentation.
Responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining the application security strategy for the Advocate Aurora Health Workday platform and for the biannual updates. This role will work closely with business partners, analysts and cross functional teams to translate security requirements into the configuration enabling role-based workflow and data security. Will lead teams on complex projects and mentor junior team members.
Major Responsibilities:
- Leads security requirements, design, configuration, workflow, testing, training, auditing, implementation, and administration of Workday basic and advanced security.
- Performs hands-on security group, domain and user security configurations in Workday.
- Problem solves and troubleshoots issues relating to Security Configuration.
- Participates in Implementations and provides on-going support of Workday security activities.
- Develops and executes test plans based on security requirements, tracking defects and fixes to resolution.
- Performs security impact analysis for change requests and Workday release upgrades.
- Assists with the configuration and testing of Workday security, audits and maintains existing security structure.
- Documents the current and future state of Workday security configurations, maintenance and support of Workday tenants. Recommends best security practices and provide sound solutions to support end to end business processes.
- Acts as an active member for the Workday community – staying ahead of Workday security updates, fixes and resolutions.
- Leads collaborative efforts across a broad range of business partners, stakeholders and external partner resources. Handles production support and change requests based on the priority.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:
- Workday Pro Certification issued by Workday. needs to be obtained within 1 year.
Education Required:
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent knowledge) in Computer Science or related field.
Experience Required:
- Typically requires 5 years of experience in Workday or other relevant ERP experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
- Exhibits strong facilitation and communication skills to interact with all hospital medical, technical and business personnel.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- This position requires travel, therefore, will be exposed to weather and road conditions.
- Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
- Exposed to a normal office environment.
