Careers in Imaging

Diagnostic Radiology (X-Ray)

Our Radiologic Technologists perform X-ray exams to create images of the inside of the body. They position patients, operate X-ray equipment, and ensure high-quality images for diagnosing bone fractures, infections, and other conditions.

Computed Tomography (CT)

Our CT Technologists use advanced CT scanners to produce cross-sectional images of the body. They prepare patients, manage the scanning process, and work with radiologists to provide detailed images for diagnosing complex conditions and guiding treatments.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)

Our MRI Technologists operate MRI machines to create detailed images of organs and tissues. They ensure patient safety, position patients correctly, and adjust the equipment to capture high-quality images, particularly of the brain, spine, joints, and soft tissues.

Mammography

Our Mammography Technologists perform breast imaging using low-dose X-rays. They assist patients throughout the procedure, ensure optimal image quality, and work to detect early signs of breast cancer, aiding in timely diagnosis and treatment.

Sonography

Our Sonographers use ultrasound equipment to capture images of the body’s internal structures. They specialize in areas such as obstetrics, cardiology, and abdominal imaging, guiding patients through the process and providing crucial information for diagnosis and treatment.

Echocardiography

Our Cardiac Sonographers specialize in imaging the heart using ultrasound technology. They perform detailed scans to assess heart structures and function, helping diagnose and monitor heart conditions and guiding treatment decisions.

Nuclear Medicine

Our nuclear medicine technologists use small amounts of radioactive materials to create images of the body’s organs and tissues. They prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, operate specialized imaging equipment, and work closely with physicians to diagnose and monitor conditions such as cancer, heart disease, and thyroid disorders.

Radiation Therapy

Our radiation therapists deliver targeted radiation treatments to patients with cancer. They carefully position patients, operate advanced radiation equipment, and collaborate with oncologists to ensure precise treatment. Radiation therapists focus on minimizing exposure to healthy tissues while maximizing the effectiveness of the treatment in shrinking or eliminating tumors.
