Schedule Details/Additional Information:

  • 8 hr shifts
  • Varied shift start times
  • Mon-Friday (days off vary each week)
  • Call requirements (currently 1 night per pay period, every 11th weekend)
  • Holiday call rotation.
  • 30 minute call response time required.

Pre/Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (Pre/PACU) is where collaboration isn’t just a buzzword—it’s how we work every day. Our unit is built on strong teamwork, consistent communication with providers, and the flexibility to adapt to an ever-changing surgery schedule.

With 12 Pre-op rooms, 11 PACU bays, and 4 Phase 2 rooms, you’ll experience variety and challenge while working alongside a dedicated team of Registered Nurses, PACU Techs, and HUCs. Here, everyone is cross-trained and empowered to take on multiple roles, ensuring seamless patient care from start to finish.

We’re Looking For:

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • ACLS required by completion of orientation.
  • PALS required within 6 months of hire.
  • Inpatient critical care RN experience preferred.

What You’ll Do:

  • As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
