Schedule Details/Additional Information:
Will oversee Mammographers and Radiology Assistants.Mammography experience highly preferred.Department is open Mon- Fri, and half day Saturdays.Will have oversight of Gurnee Mammography location.

Major Responsibilities:
Business and Operations Oversight – responsible for the overall operational/fiscal management for assigned areas of responsibility. Monitors performance of financial metrics to achieve budgeted targets, including but not limited to: inventory management, supply expense, labor cost and staffing optimization. Takes corrective action appropriately to improve metrics when targets are not being met.

Clinical and Service Outcomes — Responsible for ensuring safe clinical practices and standards are in place and in routine use. Continually seeks to identify opportunities to improve clinical practice and delivery of care in areas of responsibility.

Ensures policies, procedures standard work/ guidelines are in place, in routine use and reflective of best practice. Maintains all records in support of compliance and acts in a proactive manner to discover and ameliorate any deficiencies. Oversees team member performance, including onboarding, ongoing development, coaching, corrective actions and annual performance.

Works with team members to obtain / maintain ACR accreditation for all equipment/modalities assigned. Oversees operation of student education programs, technologist competency, compliance, education, and related functions.

Strategic initiatives — Supports strategic initiatives through reinforcing desired practices and monitoring operational metrics which aid in achieving site, regional and system goals. Works with Business/Finance Developments on target product line initiatives. Provides weekly and monthly dashboards of outcomes to share with team members and leadership.

Supports the Advocate Experience through fostering an environment of customer service and patient first. Assesses patient schedules to ensure efficient use of staffing and schedule optimization.

Safety and Service Outcomes – Adheres to organizational standards related to safety in practice, customer service and professionalism/professional development.

Adheres to behavioral standards in relation to service and safety in all patient, team member and customer interactions. Follows safety and professional behaviors in day to day workflows. Adheres to HIPAA compliance standards and protects PHI according to organizational standards and regulations.

Consistently maintains an attitude of professionalism in alignment with organizational and department behavior and safety standards. Participates in assessment of own learning needs and actively seeks opportunity for professional growth and development. Maintains appropriate state license and national board certifications. Maintains CPR per site/organizational protocol.

Education/Experience Required:
• Bachelors degree or Equivalent Experience. • Graduate of an accredited diagnostic imaging program. •3+ years experience working in a Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging environment.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
• Advanced PC skills including Excel • Business development and strategic planning skills
• RT, CNMT, RCS, RDCS, or Certified US Tech • CPR Certified
