Full time

Participates in the strategic planning structures and processes with administration, medical staff and clinical leaders. Assures that appropriate communication occurs with the management and patient care staff related to hospital operations
Promotes the development and use of evidence-based, outcome-driven treatment methods, which are deemed "best-practice" through comprehensive benchmarking of care provided to pediatric patients of comparable severity and clinical risk.
Leads and mentors a multidisciplinary work force, which provides clinically competent, efficient, and compassionate care and services in a professionally challenging work environment.
Supports the activities of the Atrium Health Foundation, participating in community events and representing Advocate Children’s to the greater Chicago marketplace.
Collaborates with marketing to enhance the brand strength of Children’s at the Oak Lawn and Park Ridge locations
Represents Children’s in local, state, regional and national organizations and societies.
Ensures the highest quality of medical care, developing and monitoring key performance metrics in collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer of Children’s Hospital
Primary focus on execution of Operational Excellence- top decile performance in Quality/ Safety, Patient Experience, Teammate Engagement, Efficiency and financial performance.
Leads the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of care delivery models and services that meet or exceed customer expectations.
Leads the fiscal oversight of allocated resources to optimize efficient and effective utilization.
Responsible for providing effective and coordinated leadership of patient care for the clinical patient service and support areas.
Works with the Senior Executive team of Children’s to establish a culture and standard of care of excellence, teamwork and high performance throughout Children’s, including evidence-based practices and clinical protocols that represent high quality and cost-effective care.
Implements the vision and strategic plan of Children’s Hospital (Oak Lawn and Park Ridge) and identifies opportunities to enhance and expand existing programs and establish new programs.
Responsible for providing effective and coordinated leadership of patient care for the clinical patient service and support areas
Ensures compliance with standards and requirements established by regulatory and certifying agencies.
Education: 
  • Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or Healthcare-related field required.
  • Typically requires 10 years of progressive leadership experience in acute care operations or healthcare operations including relevant experience with multiple facilities/campuses.
  • Children's healthcare experience strongly preferred.
